These terms are the agreement between you and SnapUp Studio (“SnapUp”, “we”, “us”) for using snapupstudio.com, the studio app, guest galleries and the websites published through SnapUp. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.
1. Your account
- You must be 18 or older and give accurate details. Your email address must be confirmed before you can sign in.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account. Keep your password private. An account can be signed in on one device at a time; signing in elsewhere signs the other device out.
- Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
2. Plans, add-ons and payment
- Plans are prepaid for the period you choose (monthly, 3 months, 6 months or annual). The prices, and the discount for longer periods, are shown on the plans page and are exclusive of 18% GST, which is added at checkout.
- Payments are taken through Razorpay. A plan starts when the payment is confirmed. Plans do not renew automatically — you renew when you choose to.
- Extra storage lasts 28 days from the day it is bought and works only while you have an active plan. After 28 days it is removed. If your plan ends first, the extra storage stops with it.
- Business website add-on is sold in 30-day periods on plans that do not include it.
- Promo codes and referral wallet credit reduce the price of a plan; they have no cash value and cannot be withdrawn or transferred.
- Refunds and cancellations are covered by the Cancellation & Refund Policy.
- We may change prices for future periods. A period you have already paid for is not affected.
3. When a plan ends
If a plan runs out and is not renewed:
- for 7 days everything stays in place and originals can still be downloaded;
- after that, original files are deleted. Previews remain viewable for a further 30 days;
- after that, previews are deleted too and the event is no longer available.
Renewing before a step happens stops it. Files that have already been deleted cannot be recovered, so please download what you need before your plan ends.
4. Your content
- You keep all rights in the photos, videos and text you upload. We claim no ownership of them.
- You give us permission to store, process, resize and deliver your content, and to run face matching on it, only as needed to provide the service to you and the guests you share it with.
- You confirm that you have the right to upload and share what you upload, including any permission needed from the people in your photos and from your clients, and that you will act on reasonable removal requests from people who appear in them.
- You are responsible for keeping your own copies. SnapUp is a delivery service, not a backup of last resort.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- upload anything unlawful, or sexual content involving minors, or content that infringes someone else’s rights;
- use face matching to identify, track or profile people outside the event they attended;
- share gallery links publicly against the wishes of the client or host;
- try to break, overload or get around the limits and security of the service, or resell it without our agreement.
We may remove content or suspend an account that breaks these rules. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you first.
6. Guests
Guests use a gallery at the invitation of a photographer. Guests agree to upload only a selfie of themselves when searching, and to use photos only as the photographer or host allows. How guest information is handled is set out in the Privacy Policy.
7. Websites and domains
Portfolio and business websites published through SnapUp are your responsibility: their content, and the right to use any custom domain you connect. A site may be taken offline if its plan or add-on ends.
8. Availability
We work to keep SnapUp available and fast, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may carry out maintenance, and features may change over time. If we plan to remove something you rely on, we will give reasonable notice.
9. Liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, SnapUp is not liable for indirect or consequential loss (such as lost business or lost data you did not keep a copy of), and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Ending the agreement
You can stop using SnapUp and ask for your account to be deleted at any time. We may close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms. On closure, your content is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and we will email account holders about important changes. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute.
